Scheduled Training Classes
We offer regularly scheduled classes on the entire Microsoft Office suite as well as specialized training by request. Classes have multiple modules with varying levels of complexity to meet the constantly changing needs of your users. Prior to classes, we assess users to make sure they are matched with the correct class based on their skill level.
New Employee Training
We provide all new employees with a thorough introduction to using your network. Classes are regularly scheduled at Prelude and at remote locations using our mobile lab. Employees can begin working productively from their first day on the job.
Testing & Training Environments
We have complete test environments that Prelude and you use to install and analyze new applications and upgrades before they are placed into production. This prevents production downtime by proactively identifying software flaws and/or incompatibilities. It also allows your users to orient themselves with new features before an upgrade is applied. In addition, our training environment provides a location for ongoing training without affecting live data.
Training Materials & Quick Reference Guides
We provide in-depth training materials for all classes we offer including Quick Reference Guides where appropriate. Your users can reference these materials long after the class is completed or share them with others who may not be able to attend the class.
Prelude Conversion Training
When performing site server and computer upgrades, we provide necessary conversion training to ensure employees can resume working as soon as possible. We have a dedicated team of conversion specialists that work with a site from start to finish so they are familiar with all issues and are easily able to address follow-up items.
Training Sessions
Computer training is regularly conducted at Prelude's Camp Hill office and several client sites. These training sessions include, but are not limited to:
- Microsoft Office programs
- Microsoft Publisher
- Microsoft Outlook
- New User classes focusing on how to use the Windows operating system and manage files
Class content is based on skill level from basic to advanced. Each trainee receives a customized manual and other support documents to take home. When possible, we use helpdesk examples from our clients in our classes.
