Our consulting and telecommunications management services save you time, money, confusion, and aggravation in collecting and analyzing information, optimizing systems, evaluating alternatives, implementing changes, and working with vendors. We offer four distinct services that can be used independently or as a whole to not only lower your costs, but increase productivity.


Core Services:


Voice Communications

This service is comprised of phone system management and administration; voice application management and administration; automated attendants; call centers; and resident telephone service. In addition, Prelude utilizes existing network lines to implement Voice Over IP service.


Voice and Data Billing Review

Billing review services cover such tasks as reviewing local and long distance invoices for fraudulent practices; reviewing data invoices for billing inaccuracies; and analyzing voice services and recommending changes to minimize telecommunications costs.


Facility Staff Telephone Administration

Telephone administration for facility staff is comprised of phone system management and administration and voice application management and administration. Items include voicemail, automated attendants, and call centers.


Resident Telephone Service

Telephone administration for facility residents is comprised of phone system management and administration and voicemail management and administration. All charges are conveniently included with the resident's monthly facility statement.


Cell Phone and Cell Modem Management

Prelude acts as a liaison between you and your phone carriers. We make recommendations on cellular voice and data plans and provide cellular application support.


Voice Over IP

Voice Over Internet Protocol, also known as Voice Over IP, is a technology that allows you make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular/analog phone line. This technology eliminates local phone switches and centralizes all communications at Prelude. This is one of the latest innovations for using network lines to reduce long distance as well as ongoing operating costs.

Prelude's team of telecommunications professionals has the ability to implement this technology for a variety of campus settings. From a stand-alone building to a CCRC spanning dozens of acres, Prelude can implement a plan that is right for you.

Data Communications

This service consists of executing and supporting data connectivity for our clients. We provide Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) design, documentation, and implementation. In addition we are the liaison to network service providers for network outages and billing discrepancies.

Infrastructure

This service encompasses physical infrastructure system engineering, design and documentation, ranging from building infrastructure to campus and organization infrastructures.

Billing Administration

This service covers such tasks as reviewing local and long distance bills for fraudulent practices, reviewing data bills for billing inaccuracies, analyzing voice services, and recommending changes to minimize telecommunication costs.


Telecommunications Contract and Lease Management

Prelude assists clients in identifying wants and needs related to their telephone and WAN systems. We propose a solution that meets your requirements and is within your budget. We work with you and vendors to formulate contracts and leases that suit your needs. In addition, we proactively track all leased equipment.

Connectivity Services:

  • Designated users can obtain secure access to our network through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection. Users can remotely access their important network files and intranet websites.
  • MPLS and Frame Relay service available through Sprint.
  • High-speed Internet access via a 10 megabit SONET ring connection.
  • Available Frame Relay connection to fiscal intermediaries to view and download remittance advices (835).
  • ISDN connection to fiscal intermediaries for submitting claims (837).
